PNAAP (Peckham & Nunhead Area Action Plan)
The Council consultation on the PNAAP is finally happening! Now it covers all of Peckham, Nunhead and most of Peckham Rye as well as Peckham town centre. See here for the Council information www.southwark.gov.uk/futurepeckham
The key document on that page to download is PNAAP consultation report You can get a paper copy from the Planning policy team phone 020 7525 5471 or email: futurepeckham@southwark.gov.uk
The report, 'Future Peckham', outlines the issues that the Council can see, and the options for dealing with them. This is the time to see whether any issue or option that you care about is covered somewhere in the document. If it isn't, you need to tell them in writing before 25 May. The report explains how to do this.

For some ideas about an integrated plan for central Rye Lane, incorporating rehabilitation of Peckham Rye station, creating the new square in front, and transforming the east of Rye Lane and between the railway lines, see Transforming Central Rye Lane

NEIGHBOURHOOD PROFILES
The BRG is encouraging local residents to take pictures of aspects of their neighbourhood that they like or think need to be improved. These are being collected on the BRG website for residents' comments, and to help identify issues and options for the neighbourhood. Background to this project is at www.peckhamvision.org/brg/brg, and the first pictures are at www.peckhamvision.org/brg/neighbourhood-pictures

The website and pictures will be on display in the exhibition and the results discussed in the meeting. If you are interested in doing this for your own neighbourhood, do please come along, and take a look at www.peckhamvision.org/brg/other-neighbourhoods

The quality buildings should be put to better use, such as the old Jones and Higgins store (The clock tower) This should be a theatre a music venue (move over Brixton Academy!) or a gallery for the large collection of Art Southwark has in storage but no space to display.
