Planning training 9th April

From the Willowbrook Centre - Southwark's centre for community advice on Planning.
Have you ever wondered who makes the decisions about:
" What should be built and where?
" How much housing should be provided?
" How Southwark's Planning Department make decisions?

The Willowbrook Centre with support from Planning Aid for London and The Take Part Pathfinder Programme are offering a training session to empower the local community in Southwark to have an understanding of how planning works and feel knowledgeable about what various policy documents, including the core strategy, will mean for the community.

Aims of the Session:
To explain what is Planning?
To explain how the Planning System works?
Explain Southwark's current position
Raise awareness of how to be involved
Allow attendees to have a more active role in how their areas will look in the future
